14 Top Boutique Gyms in Perth

14 Top Boutique Gyms in Perth

After conducting a poll earlier in the year we discovered that 73% of the Perth Fitfam community prefer training in smaller, community-based gyms in Perth. They may be small, they may not have the marketing budget of big corporate gyms, but with over a 95% active member rate and amazing team community, it’s hard to look past boutique gyms as your place of fitness. We’ve curated this list considering:

  • Voted by the Perth Fitfam community
  • Locally owned
  • Primarily group training
  • Non-Franchise
  • Non-Crossfit

Here’s the list of the 14 Top Boutique Gyms in Perth to help you discover some of the gyms kicking ass that you may have never heard of before (in alphabetical order).

For a long time, Athletic Revolution has been a favourite of ours. From the branding to the coaches, from the classes to the specialisation in Olympic Lifting these guys are nothing but quality. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or advanced, Athletic Revolution’s motto is “if you have a body, you’re an athlete” and we couldn’t agree more.

If you’re interested specifically in Olympic Lifting then we highly suggest paying a visit to their big brother, The Rev Barbell Club which recently opened in Balcatta and is without a doubt the best Olympic Lifting facility in Australia.

We discovered Body MBrace through our Instagram poll and after all the positive feedback had to go check it out for ourselves. Body MBrace specialises in private and small group training with around 12 members in a class suited for beginner to intermediate exercisers. Each class uses MYZONE technology which is displayed on a cinema screen to accurately monitor your exercise intensity and keep you accountable in every workout.

To top it off Body MBrace is run and owned by two of the best blokes you’ll ever meet in your life Greg and Seth Maserow. Outside of their amazing community, the most impressive thing for me was that each studio has up to 250 members with a 98% active member rate. Even for boutique gyms, this achievement is not only noteworthy but outstanding.
