Anytime Fitness gyms all over WA will support the work of R U OK? with the annual fundraising challenge, Tread As One. For the past three years, Anytime Fitness has held a 24-hour fundraising drive that calls on members of the community to complete a ‘treadmill challenge’.
This sees the clubs keep one or more of their treadmills running for a full 24 hours, whilst participants receive donations for every 15-minute slot they complete on the treadmill.
Some Anytime Fitness clubs (such as Geraldton) even see members undertake the full 24 hours on their own!
The event brings people together to support each other, support suicide prevention and let the community know it’s ok to talk about the hard stuff.
When: Friday 31st May (from 3pm) to Saturday 1st June
Where: participating Anytime Fitness clubs state-wide, including Bunbury and Kalgoorlie
Open to Anytime Fitness members and the community as a whole
Price: from $15
